At P2P Tip Jar, we believe your data belongs to you. This policy explains how we collect and protect information when you use our platform.
When you register for a creator account, we collect your email address, chosen username, and encrypted password. To facilitate your checkout pages, we also collect the payment handles (e.g., Venmo username, Cash App cashtag, Bitcoin addresses) and social media links you voluntarily provide. We do not collect or store your banking credentials or credit card numbers.
If a customer purchases merchandise or tips a creator, the actual financial transaction occurs on third-party networks (Venmo, PayPal, etc.). We do not see or store the customer's financial data.
Creators on our Vendor or Food Truck tiers may opt to collect customer email addresses on the "Thank You" receipt page for their own marketing purposes. We securely store these emails on behalf of the creator, but we do not sell, rent, or use these customer emails for our own marketing.
We use your data solely to operate the platform, authenticate your logins, generate your public-facing checkout pages, and communicate with you regarding your account, subscriptions, or support inquiries.
Your public profile may include third-party integrations (such as embedded Spotify players). These third parties may use cookies or tracking technologies over which we have no control. Please review their respective privacy policies.
We use essential cookies to keep you logged into your dashboard and to ensure the proper routing of our Point-of-Sale cart data. We do not use aggressive tracking or advertising cookies.
